Some people spend most of their lives telling other people all the reasons that they can’t do what they love.
Because, you know. You can’t. I mean really. What would happen to the world if everyone just sat around writing stories and painting paintings and playing music and organizing communities and feeding stray cats and having fun with their friends? How would anything important ever get done?
If they try saying that to you, you have two choices. You can listen to them and give up on doing what you love. Settle down. Be reasonable. Or you can pat them on the head, give them a cookie, and send them on their way. Then go back to doing what you love.
Or not. It’s up to you.
