PERSONAL NOTE:
- To me, the evidence that berries support brain health is convincing. And, they’re high in other beneficial nutrients… and taste great. So I eat a half cup of blueberries a day (with some raspberries, when they’re available).
- I eat pomegranates when they’re in season (they’re also great for prostate health). When they’re not in season, I take pomegranate powder in water.
- Folks eating low-carb diets can get some of the benefits of berries by taking extracts.
